Sports Betting: The Best Money Line Bets for Week 10

Week 10 NFL

It was a wacky Week 9 in the NFL, which saw multiple upsets, plenty of controversies, and the return of some key superstars. If you had bet on the Packers early in the week, you were no doubt disappointed when the news (and scandal) dropped that quarterback Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t be able to suit up due to contracting Covid-19. As a result, there was a big swing in the money line betting, and QB Jordan Love was underwhelming in his debut start as the Pack fell to the Chiefs.

And it wouldn’t be NFL football without a couple of shocking upsets, none more surprising than the Cowboys getting trounced at home by the Broncos and the Bills losing 9-6 to the previously 1-6 Jaguars – both of which would have paid out a pretty penny for your NFL bets. So as we head into Week 10, let’s take a look at some of the best money line bets this weekend.

Seattle Seahawks (+160) at Green Bay Packers

On Monday, the Seahawks received some great news when it was announced that star quarterback Russell Wilson has been cleared to play this week. Geno Smith held down the fort while Wilson was sidelined, but the team was just not the same without their perennial Pro Bowl quarterback.

Green Bay is coming off of a shaky game with Jordon Love at the helm, and there’s still no guarantee that Aaron Rodgers will be able to play. The best-case scenario sees Rodgers returning after quarantine with a negative test, but that will also mean that he’d be entering the game with minimal if any practice time this week.

Wilson is 3-3 vs. Rodgers in the regular season and 1-1 in the postseason all-time. I look for Wilson to have a great game and edge a Packers team currently clouded in controversy.

Kansas City Chiefs (+125) at Las Vegas Raiders

There’s no way to sugarcoat it – the Chiefs have looked bad this year. Patrick Mahomes has been a turnover machine, and the offense has been a shell of its former self. Every week we keep waiting for them to bust out of their slump and silence the critics, but they haven’t been able to do so so far.

They barely squeaked out a victory at home against a Green Bay team that was missing Aaron Rodgers, as Mahomes threw for just 166 yards in a lackluster effort that saw the Chiefs escape with a 13-7 victory.

The Raiders have had a tough week/month themselves amidst the Jon Gruden and Henry Ruggs III issues and are coming off of a loss to the Giants on the East Coast. However, QB Derek Carr had an uncharacteristically turnover-filled game, and I expect him and the Raiders to bounce back at home this week against an uninspiring Chiefs team.

Los Angeles Rams (-190) at San Francisco 49ers

The Rams were embarrassed against a Derrick Henry-less Titans team that ultimately took the game over with their defense on Sunday night. You can bet that this will not sit well with Head Coach Sean McVay, and he’ll have his team ready this week.

It’s an unenviable position for the 49ers to be in, especially considering they just suffered an embarrassing home loss to an Arizona Cardinals team that was missing Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, and A.J. Green.

The return of TE George Kittle was the lone bright spot for San Francisco as they fell 31-17 to the Cards. However, MVP candidate Matthew Stafford will be much sharper in this one, and the Rams should roll.

Who Are Your Best Money Line Bets This Week?

Those are my best money line bets of the week. Now it’s time to decide on yours. There will be plenty of opportunities to get in on a few underdogs, as the upsets have been flowing freely this season. Will this be the week the Detroit Lions (+340) get their first win? Can the Jets (+575) continue putting up points and hand Buffalo another significant loss?
