Super Bowl 56 is still more than a week away, and there are some enticing NFL bets for bettors. Current Super Bowl odds have the Los Angeles Rams as 4.5 point favorites and -200 on the money line.

But before we look at the Super Bowl money line for the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams, here’s what you need to know about the game.

Rams (-4.5) at Bengals (Neutral)

  • Venue: SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA

Los Angeles Rams (-200)

After going 5-1 to end their regular season, the Rams thrashed the Arizona Cardinals 34-11 in the Wild Card round. Los Angeles then went on the road to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-27.

In another exciting finish, the Rams took down their division rival San Francisco 49ers 20-17. They beat the 49ers for the first time in seven tries to take the NFC Championship.

In their first two playoff games, Los Angeles took early leads and held on to win. But against San Francisco, the Rams overcame a ten-point deficit in the third quarter. The Rams scored thirteen unanswered points for the win.

Cincinnati Bengals (+165)

After beating the Las Vegas Raiders 26-19 at home, the Bengals traveled for the next two games. First, they took down the top-seeded Tennessee Titans 19-16. Then, the underdog Bengals surprised the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 at Arrowhead.

In both of their last two games, Cincinnati relied on the leg of kicker Evan McPherson for walk-off wins after critical drives engineered by Joe Burrow.

Bengals vs. Rams

These are two productive offenses, tied for seventh in average points scored during the season. They also prefer to pass the ball, as the Bengals and the Rams rushing attacks rank 23rd and 25th in yards per game, respectively.

However, the Los Angeles Rams have a potent pass rush that ranks third in sacks. The Rams pass rush could present problems for Burrow. Burrow has absorbed 51 sacks in the regular season and 11 in the 2021 playoffs. In the game against the Titans, Burrow took nine sacks, and the Bengals scored only 19 points. Still, the Bengals won the game 19-16, and Burrow had a relatively productive day, throwing for 348 yards.

The Bengals won their last four games by an average of four points, and while the Rams rolled over the Arizona Cardinals, they beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco by a field goal margin.

Super Bowl Money Line

Choosing a winner for this Super Bowl money line is challenging, but betting the Rams -200 doesn’t provide any value, in my opinion. The Bengals at +165 is a line that offers a lot of value, especially in a game that looks like it will come down to the wire.

I believe turnovers will play a pivotal role in this game. The Bengals have a +5 turnover margin in the playoffs and have six interceptions in the postseason.

Matthew Stafford has only thrown one interception in the playoffs, but he threw eight in the final four regular-season games. I believe the Bengals’ opportunistic defense will force a turnover or two, so I’m taking the money line for the Bengals to win their first Super Bowl in franchise history.
