The Tennessee Titans have a prime-time matchup scheduled with one of the hottest teams in the NFL, the Buffalo Bills. Right now, the NFL betting odds have the Titans as 5 point underdogs at home in Nashville.

Josh Allen and the Bills look like Super Bowl contenders, so Derrick Henry and Co. will have to battle from start to finish to cover the spread.

Here’s what you need to know about Tennessee sports betting in Week 6.

The Attack of The Titans

The offensive production that Tennessee has been able to sustain over the first five games of the season has been tremendous. Led by running back Derrick Henry, the Titans average the 9th most points per game (26.4).

Speaking of Derrick Henry, let’s talk about how unstoppable he’s been. On the season, he’s amassed a total of 765 yards and leads all running backs in rushing touchdowns (7). It feels like he can break loose on any play and go for a significant gain, running over anybody in his path.

Complimenting the run game, Ryan Tannehill has been solid so far. No, he’s not an elite quarterback who takes over games, but he spreads the ball around and moves the chains on passing downs. For example, he completed passes to seven different receivers last week and tallied a touchdown with no interceptions.

Problems in the Secondary

The Tennessee run defense has been average. Right now, they’re middle of the pack, ranking 15th in rushing yards allowed per game (112.8). The Titans have been struggling the most against defending the pass.

Opponents have been able to get the ball in their receivers’ hands for big yardage on passes versus the Titans. On average, the Titans are allowing 7.9 yards per pass, ranking 29th in that metric.

Even though safety Kevin Byard forced two turnovers last week, this defensive unit still only creates 0.8 takeaways a game. Maybe the Titans’ solid secondary performance in Week 5 is a sign of good things to come next week, though.

Tennessee Sports Betting: Week 6 Spread Prediction

The Titans have a huge challenge ahead of them against the Bills. Josh Allen is looking dynamic as ever, coming off a game where he threw for three touchdowns and ran for another.

The Titans will also have to limit playmakers like Stefon Diggs, Zack Moss, and Emmanuel Sanders.

If the Tennessee defense can come up with a couple of turnovers like they did in Week 5, I think they could cover the five-point spread. Buffalo ranks 3rd in rush yards allowed per game, but if anyone can break a defense, it’s Derrick Henry.

A Close Game in Tennessee

I believe Derrick Henry and the Titans will keep pace with the Bills and make it a close game on Monday. This game should be electric, and you don’t want to miss it.
