Mike Clevinger struck out 10 and allowed one hit in five innings of the Cleveland Indians’ eventual 3-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on April 7, 2019. It completed a four-game sweep and was the fourth of five straight wins over the Jays.
Two years later, Clevinger is gone and Cleveland is no longer dominating Toronto. Since that five-game winning streak ended on July 23, the Blue Jays are 5-3 against the Indians, including 4-2 in their last six meetings.
