In the unpredictable world of NFL sports betting, upsets are always a possibility. That’s why it’s crucial to stay informed about the best NFL underdog bets every week. In the NFL Week 11 schedule, there are three intriguing matchups in which the underdog has a chance to cover the spread. BetMGM provides the following NFL betting odds:

  • Indianapolis Colts (+7) at Buffalo Bills
  • Detroit Lions (+10) at Cleveland Browns
  • Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings (+2.5)

Check out the article below to learn more about these matchups from a sports betting angle.

Indianapolis Colts (+7) at Buffalo Bills

After their baffling loss to the Jaguars, Buffalo returned to form against the Jets in Week 9. The Bills won 45-17 and easily covered the 12-point spread. Unfortunately for Buffalo, things won’t be so easy against the Colts in Week 11.

Indianapolis hasn’t lost a game in regulation since Week 3. Last week, the Colts sacked Trevor Lawrence three times and now face a Bills offensive line that has allowed six sacks over the past two games.

Buffalo has the number one defense in the NFL in terms of yards per game allowed, but the Bills have benefitted from an easy schedule. Buffalo allowed just 17 points combined across four games against the Texans, Jaguars, and Dolphins. Those teams, of course, have a combined record of 6-22.

Detroit Lions (+10) at Cleveland Browns

During Kevin Stefanski’s tenure as the Browns head coach, Cleveland is just 5-8 against the spread (ATS) at home. When Stefanski’s Browns are favored, Cleveland is just 6-10 ATS.

The Browns are coming off a 45-7 loss to the Patriots in which Baker Mayfield struggled before exiting the game in the third quarter due to injury. Mayfield should be fine to play against Detroit, but he hasn’t looked good enough to convince me the Browns can cover a 10-point spread.

The Browns have struggled lately, but the biggest reason to back the Lions in this contest is that Dan Campbell’s Lions are far too competitive to be heavy underdogs.

Running back, D’Andre Swift blasted through the Steelers’ run defense for 130 yards. He now gets to face a Cleveland defense that just gave up 184 rushing yards to New England.

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings (+2.5)

The Vikings can pull off the upset on Sunday against the Packers if they feed Justin Jefferson targets. Jefferson ranks 6th in the NFL in receiving yards but just 15th in targets.

Minnesota made a conscious effort the get Jefferson the ball on Sunday against the Chargers, as Jefferson racked up 143 yards on nine catches. Minnesota’s offense has been up and down this season, but if the coaching staff has decided to make Jefferson the primary target, the Vikings could start scoring in bunches.

Green Bay’s offense, meanwhile, looked pedestrian on Sunday. The Packers had just three points through three quarters, and they now have to go on the road without their starting running back, Aaron Jones. I like the Vikings to win at home and keep themselves in the NFC playoff picture.

Analyzing the Best NFL Underdog Bets for Week 11

The Colts and Vikings are good teams that can win any matchup, and I like both squads to cover as underdogs in Week 11. The Lions are winless but have been very competitive and get to face a Browns team that just got exposed by the Patriots.
