UFC middleweight rising stars Ateba Gautier and Andrey Pulyaev are set to collide on Jan. 24 as part of the UFC 324 card inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
After winning all his fights inside the octagon via TKO/KO finish, Gautier will be the heavy betting favorite heading into the clash with -1000 UFC odds, while Pulyaev is going to be the overwhelming betting underdog with +625 odds.

UFC 324: Ateba Gautier vs. Andrey Pulyaev: Prediction
My prediction is an early TKO/KO finish for Gautier over Pulyaev, as the former has more power in his punches than the latter. Once Gautier lands a significant early blow against Pulyaev, he can be significantly compromised.
Gautier isn’t only a type of fighter who relies on chaotic exchanges just to land his best strikes, but he’s a very technical and disciplined athlete who sets up his shots with stiff jabs. He’s also good at cutting off angles and trapping his opponents against the cage.
Pulyaev is always open to fighting on the back foot. Still, with Gautier, it’s going to be different because he’s a constant threat who can explode anytime, land a significant punch, and end the bout instantly.
Ateba Gautier’s Recent Fight Results
Gautier is a product of Dana White’s Contender Series in 2024, where he stopped Yura Naito in the second round of their match to secure a UFC contract. Since then, he scored three consecutive first-round finishes against Jose Daniel Medina, Robert Valentin, and Tre’ston Vines.
Andrey Pulyaev’s Recent Fight Results
Pulyaev is also from Dana White’s Contender Series, where he unanimously beat Liam Anderson to crack a roster spot under the promotion. But he split his first two octagon outings with a loss to Christian Leroy Duncan and a win against Nick Klein.
