I predict that Turcios will get the unanimous decision victory over Smotherman. He can impose his grappling-heavy style to nullify the striking and power of Smotherman, much like Ricky Simon did when he fought The Baby-Faced Killa.
Smotherman had problems with Simon because he couldn’t find his striking rhythm and was constantly worrying about takedowns. Furthermore, it took a lot of energy out of him. If Turcious can employ the same blueprint and fight plan, he’ll get his hands raised after the fight.
