UFC featherweight contenders Kaan Ofli and Yizha are looking to secure back-to-back wins against each other, as they will face off on Jan. 31 as part of the UFC 325 card inside Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

Both are coming off victories from their previous fights, but Yizha enters the match as the betting favorite with -210 UFC odds. Meanwhile, Ofli is going to be the betting underdog with +170 odds.

UFC 325: Kaan Ofli vs. Yizha: Prediction

With his atomic left-hand punch and constant pressure forward, I predict that Yizha will get the TKO/KO finish over Ofli. Both have solid grappling backgrounds, but I think that they will just cancel each other out in this department.

The striking advantage is in favor of Yizha, as he’s a much more accurate and quicker fighter. The only way to make him uncomfortable in a match is to overwhelm him with volume, but Ofli isn’t known for his output.

Just like what he did against his fight with Westin Wilson, I think that Yizha will initiate the action through his forward pressure and press Ofli against the fence. Once Ofli obliges, Yizha can explode and let go of his hands and land his signature power punches.

Kaan Ofli’s Recent Fight Results

Ofli was a former Hex Fight Series champion before he joined The Ultimate Fighter 32 in 2024. He submitted Roedie Roets in the semifinals of the competition to set up a finale with Mairon Santos. However, he was defeated by Santos via TKO/KO stoppage. He split his two fights inside the octagon with a win over Ricardo Ramos and a loss to Muhammad Naimov.

Yizha’s Recent Fight Results

Yizha is the winner of the Road to UFC season 2 in 2024. He submitted Kaiwen in the opening round to earn a spot on the promotion’s roster. He was handed a defeat by Gabriel Santos in his UFC debut, but quickly bounced back with a first-round stoppage of Wilson.
