Another flyweight match will be featured at UFC 326 this Saturday, as Sumudaerji and Jesus Aguilar will face off inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Sumadaerji and Aguilar are coming off victories in their previous matches, but the former heads into the clash as the betting favorite with -250 UFC odds. Meanwhile, the latter is going to be the +200 betting underdog.

UFC 326: Sumudaerji vs. Jesus Aguilar: Prediction

My prediction is a unanimous decision win for Sumudaerji over Aguilar, as he’s the more agile and fast fighter. His takedown defense is also decent to keep the fight standing and prevent Aguilar in manuevering his way into a submission technique.

The biggest factor here is the almost 10-inch reach advantage of Sumudaerji because he’ll be able to fire his punches at a very comfortable distance and out of Aguilar’s range. This also helps him telegraph the level-change and takedown attempts of the Mexican contender.

Sumudaerji’s Recent Fight Results

Sumudaerji is an MMA standout from China who made his octagon debut in November 2018. He recorded two wins and three losses in his last five fights under the UFC. His wins were against Mitch Raposo and Kevin Borjas, while his losses during this stretch were to Matt Schnell, Tim Elliott, and Charles Johnson.

Jesus Aguilar’s Recent Fight Results

Aguilar was a former UWC Mexico champion, and his route to the UFC was via Dana White’s Contender Series. He registered four wins and two losses inside the octagon with wins over Shannon Ross, Mateus Medonca, Stewart Nicoll, and Luis Gurule. He dropped his other two fights to Tatsuro Taira and Rafael Estevam.
