UFC 327: Azamat Murzakanov vs. Paulo Costa: Prediction
My prediction is a unanimous decision win for Murzakanov over Costa because he’ll throw a lot of power punches. The Brazilian will be forced to cover up in most of the exchanges because he knows that Murzakanov has one-punch knockout power.
Additionally, Costa will be the one moving up in weight, and the difference in power will be apparent to him, as he comes from the 185-pound weight class. The one thing Costa needs to do is throw a ton of leg kicks to potentially slow down Murzakanov and keep him at a safe distance.
The speed is almost the same between these two heavy hitters, and they both have great movement and footwork. The biggest catalyst will be Murzakanov’s power, but I don’t think Costa will be stopped thanks to his durability and granite chin.
