The swan song of UFC veteran Cub Swanson will be against Nate Landwehr this Saturday as they’ll be part of the UFC 327 main card inside Kaseya Center in Miami.

Even though Swanson is fresh off a victory from his previous bout, his UFC odds are the same as Landwehr’s at -110.

UFC 327: Cub Swanson vs. Nate Landwehr: Prediction

Swanson’s pace and volume are the reasons why I pick him to score a TKO/KO victory over Landwehr. At 42, Swanson’s movement and power are still pretty much intact, thus his hands-low fighting style makes his opponents constantly guess.

Even though Landwehr is the much younger fighter, his speed and movement are a step slower than Swanson. Furthermore, his chin has significantly been compromised, as three of his last four losses were via TKO/KOs.

Expect Swanson to go be super aggressive in his final career fight and immediately take the center of the octagon once the opening bell rings. His jabs will be key in setting up the atomic right-hand punch that can take the lights out of Landwehr.

Cub Swanson’s Recent Fight Results

Swanson is a UFC veteran who has been with the UFC since 2011. In his last five outings inside the octagon, he racked up three wins against Darren Elkins, Hakeem Dawodu, and Billy Quarantillo. His losses during this stretch were to Jonathan Martinez and Andre Fili.

Nate Landwehr’s Recent Fight Results

Landwehr was a former M-1 Challenge titleholder before the UFC signed him in 2020. However, he has recorded only two wins against Austin Lingo and Jamall Emmers in his last five fights. He dropped the other three to Dan Ige, Dooho Choi, and Morgan Charriere.
