UFC 327: Dominick Reyes vs. Johnny Walker: Prediction
I predict a TKO/KO win for Reyes over Walker because he’s the more calculated and disciplined fighter. Reyes is also a great counterpuncher with incredible power in his hands, even if Walker initiates the action and chooses to be the more aggressive fighter during the fight.
Walker seems a class lower to opponents who are ranked above him in the division. His unorthodox fighting style doesn’t work on higher-level contenders because he’s always caught with a clean punch or kick that knocks him out.
If Walker brings his unusual fighting style, filled with acrobatic and aerial attacks, I think Reyes will connect a solid punch that will instantly fold Walker or even put him to sleep. My only concern for Reyes is that he’ll give up five inches of reach to Walker.
Dominick Reyes’ Recent Fight Results
Reyes was a former UFC light heavyweight title challenger, and in his last five fights inside the octagon, he recorded three wins and two losses. He defeated Dustin Jacoby, Anthony Smith, and Nikita Krylov and lost to Ryan Spann and Carlos Ulberg.
Johnny Walker’s Recent Fight Results
Walker has been with the UFC since 2018. In his last five bouts under the promotion, he scored wins over Smith and Zhang Mingyang, lost to Magomed Ankalaev and Volkan Oezdemir, and had a no-contest with Ankalaev in their first meeting.
