UFC 327: Mateusz Gamrot vs. Esteban Ribovics: Prediction
With the wrestling pedigree of Gamrot, I predict a unanimous decision win for him over Ribovics. Stylistically, this matchup favors Gamrot since one he taked Ribovics down, he’ll easily takes away his power and advantage in the striking department.
Even though Gamrot has improved his striking throughout his years inside the octagon, Ribovics’ striking is still slightly better and packs a one-punch knockout ability. This is why I believe Gamrot will employ a grappling-heavy fight plan.
Additionally, Ribovics has had problems with his takedown defense, as seen in his UFC debut, where he got taken down 11 times. This completely shut down his striking, got outclassed in grappling, and gave up over seven minutes of control time.
