UFC 328: Baisangur Susurkaev vs. Djorden Santos: Prediction
My prediction is a TKO/KO victory for Susurkaev over Santos, as he’s the more powerful striker and has more variety in his strikes. Even though Susurkaev is a slow starter, I think he’ll be able to land his patented one-two punch combination.
Santos has tremendous kicks of his own, and he likes to attack both the lead and inside legs of his opponents with rapid kicks. But I think Susurkaev will be able to check or avoid them since he’s equally fast and explosive.
Even if Santos decides to take Susurkaev down, I think he’ll be able to stop the takedown attempts because he’s also a solid grappler. However, Susurkaev should be dialled in throughout the match, especially in the early stages, because he might get caught with a solid strike from Santos.
