UFC 328: Sean Brady vs. Joaquin Buckley: Prediction

I predict a unanimous decision victory for Brady over Buckley because he can control the latter with his grappling skills. This grappling will also allow Brady to cancel out the punching power of Buckley, who’s known for his highlight-reel knockouts.

I think Brady will rip off a fight plan from Kamaru Usman, who effectively neutralized Buckley in their match by taking him down and raining strikes from the guard. Buckley’s stamina and energy will be compromised significantly once Brady takes the fight on the ground.

With this being a three-round match, I believe Brady will go all out in his grappling and pour all his energy into putting Buckley down without worrying about his cardio. Buckley’s durability and grit will allow him to finish the fight without being submitted or stopped via TKO/KO.

Sean Brady’s Recent Fight Results

Brady was the former Cage Fury Fighting Championship titleholder when the UFC signed him in 2019. He won three of his last five fights inside the octagon, with victories over Kelvin Gastelum, Gilbert Burns, and Leon Edwards. Brady’s losses were courtesy of Belal Muhammad and Michael Morales.

Joaquin Buckley’s Recent Fight Results

Buckley has been with the UFC since 2020. Since moving down to the 170-pound weight class, he has found success, winning four of his last five matches. During this stretch, he defeated Vicente Luque, Nursulton Ruziboev, Stephen Thompson, and Colby Covington, while Usman defeated him.
