UFC 330: Charles Johnson vs. Eduardo Chapolin: Prediction
My prediction is a decision win for Johnson over Chapolin because he’s the more prepared fighter with a full camp. Chapolin is a late replacement opponent for Johnson after his original opponent, Jose Ochoa, pulled out due to an injury.
Both are known strikers, but Johnson will be sharper with his combinations. Even though Chapolin is still in training outside of a fight camp, his four-day preparation won’t be enough for him to prepare for an opponent of Johnson’s calibre.
Furthermore, Johnson will have the edge in experience, and I believe he’ll grind out a win against Chapolin. Johnson will use a lot of his Muay Thai background to maintain a comfortable striking distance against Chapolin throughout the three-round bout.
