Ryan Gandra will look to continue his unbeaten run in the UFC, as he’s set to collide with Ozzy Diaz in an exciting middleweight fight at UFC 331 on Saturday inside Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

With a better overall record and a nine-fight win streak, Gandra heads into the match as the betting favorite with -550 UFC odds, while Diaz, coming off a defeat in his previous match, is the +400 betting underdog.

UFC 331: Ryan Gandra vs. Ozzy Diaz: Prediction

With the explosiveness and power of Gandra, I predict a TKO/KO finish for him over Diaz. Even though he has that one-punch knockout ability, Gandra still fights with patience and is still technical with his approach.

This style allows Gandra to look calm before exploding into a big punch and catching opponents off guard because they think he’s just going to throw a jab. His feints also help him set up his signature left hook punch.

Diaz, on the other hand, has a more boxing-heavy style and wants to outbox opponents with combinations. This often makes him gun-shy with his attack because he reads his opponent’s tendencies before letting go of his hands. Additionally, he doesn’t throw counters and instead covers up from his opponent’s barrage.

Ryan Gandra’s Recent Fight Results

Gandra earned his UFC spot through Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2025, where he defeated Trent Miller. Since then, he swept his first two assignments inside the octagon with victories over Jose Daniel Medina and Zach Reese.

Ozzy Diaz’s Recent Fight Results

Diaz is a former LFA champion who made his UFC debut in November 2024. Since then, he racked up one win and two losses. His win was against Djorden Santos, while his losses were courtesy of Zhang Mingyang and Ateba Gautier.
