Surging middleweight contender Damian Pinas looks to extend his unbeaten run under the Las Vegas-based promotion, as he’s set to collide with Andrey Pulyaev in the prelims of UFC 332 on Saturday at Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

With a better pro MMA record and a 100% finish rate, Pinas enters the match as the heavy betting favorite with -600 UFC odds, while Pulyaev, who’s currently on a two-fight slump, is going to be the considerable betting underdog with +425 odds.

UFC 332: Damian Pinas vs. Andrey Pulyaev: Prediction

My prediction is a TKO/KO win for Pinas over Pulyaev because he’s the more powerful striker and he has incredible counter skills. His best punch is a straight right hand, which I think he’ll connect against Pulyaev.

Pulyaev doesn’t move his head away from the centerline, leaving his chin exposed. This could be his downfall against Pinas, who likes to fire these straight punches and try to put the lights out against his opponents.

Damian Pinas’ Recent Fight Results

Pinas was a former Victory Extreme Fighting Championship titleholder before he joined Dana White’s Contender Series in October, where he scored a first-round stoppage win over Vitor Costa. He then added Wes Schultz and Cesar Almeida to his victim list with first-round finishes over both contenders.

Andrey Pulyaev’s Recent Fight Results

Pulyaev was also a product of Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2024. However, he won only one of his four UFC matches, beating Nick Klein and losing to Christian Leroy Duncan, Ateba Gautier, and Nursulton Ruziboev.
