Undefeated welterweight contender Jacobe Smith looks to add another win to his record as he welcomes Bruce Whitehead inside the octagon at UFC 332 on Saturday at Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
Due to his immaculate pro MMA record, Smith enters the showdown as the heavy betting favorite with -1000 UFC odds, while Whitehead, who already has two losses in his career, is going to be the overwhelming betting underdog with +625 odds.

UFC 332: Jacobe Smith vs. Bruce Whitehead: Prediction
My prediction is a TKO/KO win for Smith over Whitehead because he’s the more composed, patient striker and the better overall grappler. Both have solid collegiate wrestling backgrounds before transitioning to MMA, but Smith uses his wrestling better in fights.
Smith can easily nullify any opponent’s height and reach advantage with his forward pressure. He likes to mix in snappy jabs and combinations before shooting for a single or double that catches opponents off guard.
Whitehead’s only route to victory is to make the fight chaotic and land a power punch on Smith. But that likely won’t happen, given how measured and disciplined Smith is. I think Smith will make Whitehead believe it’s going to be a wrestling match, but he’ll set a trap to lower his guard and land a massive punch up top.
