Former UFC light heavyweight contender Johnny Walker finally moves up to the heavyweight and is set to collide with Mick Parkin at UFC 332 on Saturday at Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
Both fighters are coming off losses in their previous fights, but Walker enters the showdown as the slight betting favorite with -135 UFC odds, while Parkin will be the slight betting underdog with +110 odds.

UFC 332: Johnny Walker vs. Mick Parkin: Prediction
My prediction is a TKO/KO win for Parkin because he’s the more powerful puncher. Even though Walker is the faster fighter, he’s still very hittable and his chin doesn’t hold enough to keep him in the fight once he gets hit.
Additionally, Parkin is the natural heavyweight and he hits harder. Though he needs to be careful with the calf kicks and leg kicks that Walker is going to throw throughout the match. But Parkin can counter these kicks from Walker because his chin is way up and exposed when throw these kicks.
If Walker survives the early onslaught from Parkin, then it’ll be an exciting stand-up fight. However, if Walker gets tagged early, I think Parkin can finish the fight in under two rounds and will be a rude welcome for Walker in the heavyweight division.
Johnny Walker’s Recent Fight Results
Walker has been with the UFC since 2018. However, he has only recorded one win in his last five matches. He beat Zhang Mingyang but lost to Magomed Ankalaev, Volkan Oezdemir, and Dominick Reyes. His meeting with Ankalaev ended in a no contest result.
Mick Parkin’s Recent Fight Results
Parkin’s route to the UFC was through Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2022. Since then, he racked up four wins (Jamal Pogues, Caio Machado, Mohammed Usman, and Lukasz Brzeski) and one loss (Marcin Tybura) in his five bouts inside the octagon.
