My prediction is a TKO/KO win for Zaynukov because he’s the more skilled striker, thanks to his comprehensive Muay Thai background. Zaynukov has shown that he can maintain his high output during his stint at Dana White’s Contender Series, where he landed 248 significant strikes in a three-minute bout.
Even though Rzepecki is the more versed fighter in the grappling department and could force clinch battles and takedowns, Zaynukov’s takedown defense and wrestling shouldn’t be underestimated.
Zaynukov trains with UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev, and has been dealing with elite grapplers in training, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he defends all the takedown attempts from Rzepecki and imposes a striking battle.
