Undefeated light heavyweight contender Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev looks to extend his win streak to 10 against Julius Walker at the UFC Baku card on Saturday at the National Gymnastics Arena.
Due to his immaculate pro record, Yakhyaev will be the considerable betting favorite with -625 UFC odds, while Walker, who only has one win in three promotional bouts, is going to be the +450 betting underdog.

UFC Baku: Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev vs. Julius Walker: Prediction
A decision win for Yakhyaev is my prediction over Walker, as he’s the better grappler. Yakhyaev has shown that he can outgrapple opponents in the UFC with his two submission victories, but I think Walker will be able to survive his submission attempts.
The only thing Walker won’t be able to stop is the wrestling of Yakhyaev because he’s always looking to take his opponents down. I expect Yakhyaev to march forward and force Walker to fight on his back foot.
But I won’t be surprised if Yakhyaev gets the submission finish, because after all, he’s a black belt holder in both Sambo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Don’t sleep on Yakhyaev’s power because he has one-punch knockout ability.
Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev’s Recent Fight Results
Yakhyaev was a former Khan Fight and Ares FC titleholder before he joined Dana White’s Contender Series and knocked out Alik Lorenz in just 30 seconds to secure a UFC contract. He won his first two UFC fights with submission victories against Rafael Cerqueira and Brendson Ribeiro.
Julius Walker’s Recent Fight Results
Walker was a former Synergy FC and Peak Fighting champion when the UFC signed him last year. But he has only won one in three bouts inside the octagon, with a win over Cerqueira and losses to Alonzo Menifield and Dustin Jacoby.
