With the elite grappling and submission skills of Magomedov, I predict a submission win for him over Oleksiejczuk. Oleksiejczuk is a natural striker, and he likes to stand and bang with his opponents, but Magomedov can take the fight to the ground.
Oleksiejczuk also doesn’t defend takedowns and submissions well, which is reflected in his six submission losses in his career. Though I think Magomedov will employ a grappling-heavy fight plan, I still think Magomedov will have his moments in the striking battle.
I believe Magomedov will use his kicks at the beginning of the match, especially the body kicks, because Oleksiejczuk’s body is very open to such kicks. Then, once Magomedov lures Oleksiejczuk to commit to his striking, he’ll time a perfect level-change to take him down.

Magomedov was a former PFL contender who made his UFC debut in 2022. He won three of his last five matches, with victories over Warlley Alves, Brunno Ferreira, and Michel Perreira, while his losses were to Caio Borralho and Joe Pyfer.
