UFC Belgrade: Aleksandar Rakic vs. Marcin Tybura: Prediction
A TKO/KO victory for Rakic over Tybura is my prediction because of the gap in speed. Rakic will carry the speed he had during his tenure in the light heavyweight division, which can overwhelm Tybura.
Even if Tybura forces a grappling-heavy approach in this fight, Rakic has the credentials to defend takedowns and submissions. The best route for victory for Rakic is to maximize his kicks and attack Tybura’s body early.
Once Tybura defends the body kicks, Rakic can then let go of his hands and go up top. The Serbian MMA contender can also take a page off Ante Delija’s blueprint and overwhelm Tybura with a barrage of punches to finish the fight early.
