UFC Belgrade: Mark Vologdin vs. Borislav Nikolic: Prediction
A decision win for Vologdin is my prediction over Nikolic because even though he’s the shorter fighter with a shorter reach, he’ll have the speed advantage. Nikolic is very heavy in his lead leg, and Vologdin can target it as his primary target.
Vologdin’s leg kicks are quick, and there’s no telegraph when he fires them. I think this will cause problems for Nikolic because he often doesn’t check for kicks; he just moves forward to try to knock his opponents out.
Also, Nikolic doesn’t fully maximize his reach and height advantage. This will be beneficial for Vologdin since he doesn’t need to move forward and just wait for Nikolic to close the distance for him before letting go of his strikes.
