UFC Belgrade: Oban Elliott vs. Michael Oliveira: Prediction
The technical striking and constant pressure of Oliveira are the reasons why I pick him to secure a TKO/KO win over Elliott. The 6.5-inch reach advantage of Oliveira will allow him to snipe Elliott from a very comfortable distance.
Though Elliott has the better grappling skills, I think Oliveira will be able to stop these takedown attempts and keep the fight on the feet. Oliveira likes to use his stiff jabs to pressure opponents and set up his combinations.
Once he makes a read of his opponent’s tendencies, he adjusts accordingly. Elliott is also an aggressive fighter and a volume puncher, and Oliveira will look to lure him in and counter with a check hook or left straight to try and knock Elliott out.
