I predict a unanimous decision win for Edwards against Cornolle. I think she’ll be employing the same fight plan of taking Cornolle down on the mat, neutralizing her solid Muay Thai skills, and using ground-and-pound strikes.
Like the first meeting, Edwards was able to take Cornolle down several times. This allowed her to avoid the stand-up fight and minimize the damage that she was receiving on the clinch, especially the vicious elbows from Cornolle.
However, it wasn’t enough for her to secure the victory because she received a lot of punishment on her feet from Cornolle. This time around, I believe that Edwards will be able to hold her down a bit longer and land cleaner strikes.

Cornolle made her octagon debut in September 2023 and won against Edwards in their first meeting. Since then, she has recorded two wins over Mellisa Mullins and Hailey Cowan, and lost to Jacqueline Cavalcanti and Karol Rosa.

Edwards was the former KOTC champion before the UFC signed her to a contract in 2021. She has a UFC record of seven wins and four losses. In her last five bouts, she scored victories against Tamires Vidal, Chelsea Chandler, and Priscila Cachoeira, but lost to Cornolle and Ailin Perez during this stretch.
