My prediction is a submission victory for Brahimaj over Soriano because he’s a very sleek and vicious finisher on the ground. Although Soriano is also a solid grappler, I think Brahimaj is a level above him in this category.
Brahimaj has become a very aggressive fighter in his past three fights, hunting them like prey. This allows him to pressure them against the cage and cut off their angles. Once his opponents oblige, Brahimaj surgically breaks them down.
He uses his striking to initiate action, then once he tags them, Brahimaj quickly jumps on them for a finish, either via ground-and-pound or submission. Soriano is a tough fighter, but he previously struggled with grappling-heavy opposition.

Soriano was a product of Dana White’s Contender Series in 2019. He racked up three wins and two losses in his last five fights, with victories against Miguel Baeza, Uros Medic, and Nikolay Veretennikov. His two losses during this period were to Roman Kopylov and Dustin Stoltzfus.
