Borjas was the Inka FC champion when he joined Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2023 and defeated Victor Dias to earn a roster spot in the UFC. However, in his four octagon bouts, he won only once, against Ronaldo Rodríguez, and lost the other three to Joshua Van, Alessandro Costa, and Sumudaerji.
