Bantamweight contender David Martinez will put his ranking on the line against Dan Ige at the Noche card on Saturday inside Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
As the younger fighter with a better overall record, Martinez heads into the match as the betting favorite with -475 UFC odds, while Ige, who’s on a two-fight losing streak, will be the betting underdog with +350 odds.

Noche UFC: David Martinez vs. Dan Ige: Prediction
With his accuracy and a deeper striking arsenal, I predict a decision win for Martinez over Ige. Martinez is likely to fully maximize his karate and kickboxing background, while Ige does his best work with his boxing.
Though Ige is a slightly better grappler than Martinez because of his NCAA wrestling background, I think Martinez should be confident enough to defend takedowns and submission attempts by Ige.
Another big factor heading into the match is the additional weight cut Ige will make, as he’ll drop to the 135-pound division after years of competing at featherweight. I’m not sure how his durability and conditioning will hold up.
David Martinez’s Recent Fight Results
Martinez was the former Combate Global champion before he joined Dana White’s Contender Series in October 2024. He beat Xavier Franklin to secure a UFC contract. Since then, Martinez has won all three of his bouts in the promotion, with victories over Saimon Oliveira, Rob Font, and Marlon Vera.
Dan Ige’s Recent Fight Results
Ige is a UFC veteran who has been with the promotion since 2018. His route to the UFC was also via Dana White’s Contender Series. However, he has only one fight in his last five, with a victory over Sean Woodson, and has dropped the other four to Diego Lopes, Lerone Murphy, Patricio Pitbull, and Melquizael Costa.
