Undefeated lightweight contender Tommy Gantt will put his perfect record on the line against veteran contender Drakkar Klose on Saturday at Noche UFC inside Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

Because of his immaculate pro record, Gantt heads into the match as the heavy betting favorite with -450 UFC odds. Meanwhile, Klose, who’s fresh off a bounce-back victory, will be the considerable betting underdog with +350 odds.

Noche UFC: Drakkar Klose vs. Tommy Gantt: Prediction

My prediction is a decision win for Gantt over Klose, as he’s the better overall grappler. Even though Klose also has a wrestling background, he prefers a stand-up battle, where he pressures opponents and uses his dirty boxing in the clinch.

Gantt will expect this approach from Klose, which is why I believe he’ll initiate the action and keep Klose from taking the center of the octagon. This way, he can time a level change and shoot for a takedown.

Once on the ground, Gantt will use his athleticism and strength to overpower Klose to secure a favorable position on the mount. This is where Gantt punishes his opponents with ground-and-pound strikes with punches and elbows.

Drakkar Klose’s Recent Fight Results

Klose has been with the UFC since 2017. In his last five bouts, he scored victories over Rafa Garcia, Joe Solecki, Joaquim Silva, and Edson Barboza, while he absorbed a loss to Joel Alvarez during this period.

Tommy Gantt’s Recent Fight Results

Gantt is an undefeated contender who entered the UFC via Dana White’s Contender Series with a first-round submission win over Adam Livingston. He made a successful octagon debut in May, where he scored a second-round finish of Artur Minev.
