My prediction is a decision win for Coria over Nicoll, as he’s the faster and more technical fighter. Nicoll may have the advantage in grappling, but he rarely uses this advantage against opponents because he prefers to stand and bang with them.
Coria’s quickness will give problems to Nicoll, especially at the tail end of their striking exchange. Nicoll has a habit of lowering his guard at the very end of exchanges, and it will be an opportunity for Coria to land several punches.
Nicoll also often throws sloppy punches, which makes him susceptible to counters. This was seen during his previous fight against Alessandro Costa, when he was countered by a check-liver shot that folded him. This could be the same fate for him against Coria, who’s a very dangerous striker, but I believe this fight will go the distance.
