The scheduled welterweight clash between Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani and Seokhyeon Ko will be part of the UFC OKC card on Saturday inside the Paycom Center.

Both fighters are still undefeated in their UFC careers, with two wins inside the octagon apiece, but Ko heads into the match as the betting favorite with -210 UFC odds, while Lebosnoyani is the +170 underdog.

UFC OKC: Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani vs. Seokhyeon Ko: Prediction

A TKO/KO win for Ko over Lebosnoyani is my prediction because he has the better overall striking and has more power in his strikes. Both are incredibly elite grapplers, with Lebosnoyani as a Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist and Ko with a solid Judo background.

These grappling credentials should effectively cancel each other out, and a striking-heavy match is expected. Lebosnoyani doesn’t have the same confidence in his striking as Ko because he throws his punches to immediately grab a leg for a takedown.

If this is the same strategy for Lebosnoyani, he’ll have a hard time taking Ko down and will just exhaust a significant amount of energy. Once he gasses out, Ko can proceed with his crisp boxing combination that can knock out Lebosnoyani.

Lebosnoyani was a former Lights Out Xtreme Fighting champion who joined Dana White’s Contender Series in September. He defeated Jack Congdon in the opening round to secure a UFC contract and made his promotional debut against Phil Rowe, winning by split decision in February.

Seokhyeon Ko’s Recent Fight Results

Ko was a former Angel’s Fighting Championship titleholder and joined Dana White’s Contender Series in 2024. He defeated Igor Cavalcanti to earn a roster spot. Since then, Ko swept his two bouts inside the octagon, winning over Oban Elliott and Rowe.
