Veteran lightweight contender Dan Hooker will welcome former KSW champion Salahdine Parnasse to the UFC, as they headline the UFC Paris card on Saturday inside Accor Arena in France.
Due to his two-fight losing streak, Hooker heads into the match as the betting underdog with +425 UFC odds, while Parnasse, who’s making his maiden appearance inside the octagon, will be the betting favorite with -600 odds.

UFC Paris: Hooker vs. Parnasse: Prediction
My prediction is a decision win for Parnasse over Hooker because he’s the younger and more explosive fighter. Parnasse also has more variety in his striking arsenal, which will allow him to mix his attack on Hooker.
At 36, Hooker has slowed down a bit in terms of speed and durability. If this match was created two or three years ago, it could have been a different result, with Hooker still in his prime at the time. But now, I think he’s past his peak.
Furthermore, Parnasse is a better overall grappler and can give Hooker different looks in clinch battles and level changes. The only advantage Hooker will have is his experience of fighting some of the best fighters on his resume.
Dan Hooker’s Recent Fight Results
Hooker has been with the UFC since 2014. He recorded three wins and two losses in his last five bouts, with victories over Claudio Puelles, Jalin Turner, and Mateusz Gamrot, and losses to Arman Tsarukyan and Benoit Saint Denis.
Salahdine Parnasse’s Recent Fight Results
Parnasse was a former KSW lightweight champion before signing with the UFC this year. He’s currently on a six-fight win streak, as he defeated Valeriu Mircea, Wilson Varela, Marian Ziolkowski, Marcin Held, and Kenneth Cross.
