UFC Seattle: Julian Erosa vs. Lerryan Douglas: Prediction
With the power and accuracy of Douglas, I predict a TKO/KO victory for Douglas over Erosa. Douglas’ streak of TKO/KO finishes dates back to 2023, when he still competes for other organizations, which is a great testament to his one-strike knockout power.
Douglas will give up 2.5-inch of reach disadvantage to Erosa, but it will not be a problem for me because Erosa likes to move forward to pressure opponents. This is where the knockout opportunity comes for Douglas when Erosa initiates action and throws jabs and one-two combinations.
I’m confident that Douglas will find the chin of Erosa because he doesn’t have a great head movement to avoid the punches going his way, as seen during his fight with Melquizael Costa. He absorbed a lot of solid punches against Costa. But with the power and explosiveness of Douglas, I don’t think Erosa’s chin could survive that long.
