The experience and striking volume of Ding are the reasons why I predict a decision win over Nelson. Ding not only has experience fighting in the UFC, but he also has five times as many pro fights as Nelson.
Stylistically, it’s a clash between the two fighters because Ding likes to stand and bang with his incredible pace, while Nelson likes to mix things up with takedowns to control opponents and grind out a win.
