The co-main event of the UFC Vegas 113 card on Feb. 7 will feature the flyweight clash between ranked contenders Amir Albazi and Kyoji Horiguchi, which takes place at Meta APEX in Las Vegas.

Coming off a victory in his UFC return in November, Horiguchi heads into the match as the betting favorite with -375 UFC odds, while Albazi, who’s coming off a loss in his most recent bout, is going to be the betting underdog with +300 odds.

UFC Vegas 113: Amir Albazi vs. Kyoji Horiguchi: Prediction

My prediction is a TKO/KO victory for Horiguchi over Albazi, as he’s the much faster and bigger puncher. Both are solid grapplers, but I think they will just cancel each other’s takedowns and submission attempts.

With both virtually equal in the grappling department, I think the match will be on the feet, and that’s where Horiguchi is going to have a massive advantage. The Japanese MMA superstar has elite footwork and movement, which I think he’ll use on Albazi with explosive punches and kicks.

The forward pressure from Albazi will be beneficial to Horiguchi because he doesn’t need to cover a lot of distance when throwing his signature hooks and head kicks. Once any of these solid strikes lands on Albazi, Horiguchi will pounce away for the finish.

Amir Albazi’s Recent Fight Results

Albazi was a former FightStar and UCMMA champion before the UFC signed him in 2020. He won his first bouts against Malcolm Gordon, Zhalgas Zhumagulov, Francisco Figueiredo, Alessandro Costa, and Kai Kara-France before Brandon Moreno handed him his first octagon loss in November 2024.

Kyoji Horiguchi’s Recent Fight Results

Horiguchi was a former UFC contender who left the promotion in 2016. Since he left the promotion, he dominated in other fight organizations and captured titles in Bellator and RIZIN. In November, the Japanese MMA superstar made a successful return with a third-round submission victory over Tagir Ulanbekov.
