UFC Vegas 115: Moicano vs. Duncan: Prediction
I predict a submission victory for Moicano over Duncan because he’s the superior grappler with solid striking skills. Moicano also favors the stylistic matchup, as he can neutralize Duncan’s striking and power by forcing him into a clinch and taking him down.
Although Duncan may have the one-shot knockout power, he’s a very hittable opponent. That was very evident in his previous fights, where he was almost stopped because his hands are always low, making him vulnerable to counterpunches and jabs.
I think Moicano will use a lot of jabs in this fight to keep Duncan at bay and inflict damage. Then, once Duncan engages in striking exchanges, he’ll time a level-change and go for a takedown. Once the takedown is secured, he’ll work his way into a submission maneuver for the finish.
