Montague’s wrestling background is the main reason I predict a unanimous decision win for her against Silva. Montague uses her wrestling to take her opponents down and inflict significant damage with vicious ground-and-pound strikes.
At this stage of her career, Silva has lost a step in her movement and speed. Also, her upright stance will be very vulnerable to a perfect level-change, as her center of gravity is a bit high and defending takedowns from this position is tough.
With the durability and experience of Silva, I believe she’ll be able to survive the onslaught from Montague until the final bell. However, I do think it’ll be a lopsided match, where Montague dominates throughout the majority of the bout.
