Jordan Leavitt and Joanderson Brito will face off in a featherweight clash on Saturday as part of the UFC Vegas 118 card inside the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
Despite Leavitt’s two-fight win streak, he still heads into the match as the betting underdog with +155 UFC odds. Meanwhile, Brito, who’s coming off a bounce-back win in his previous outing, will be the -190 betting favorite.

UFC Vegas 118: Jordan Leavitt vs. Joanderson Brito: Prediction
Because he’s the more powerful striker, I predict a TKO/KO finish for Brito over Leavitt. Both are high-level Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners, and I think they’ll cancel each other’s grappling skills. This will pave the way for Brito’s striking to shine.
Leavitt is a very awkward fighter on the feet, but Brito’s technical approach and constant pressure from Brito will be able to handle this unusual style. Even if Leavitt forces a grappling match, Brito should comfortably defend any submission attempts from him.
The power and precision of Brito’s strikes, along with his constant pressure forward, will overwhelm and drown Leavitt. This will force unwanted and unnecessary strikes out of Leavitt, and that’s where Brito will capitalize with sharp counters.
Jordan Leavitt’s Recent Fight Results
Leavitt was an undefeated prospect when he joined Dana White’s Contender Series in 2020. He defeated Jose Flores in the competition to win a UFC contract. In his last five bouts in the promotion, he had three wins (Victor Martinez, Kurt Holobaugh, and Yadier del Valle) and two losses (Paddy Pimblett and Chase Hooper).
Joanderson Brito’s Recent Fight Results
Brito’s route to the UFC was also through Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021, where he scored a decision win over Diego Lopes. Like Leavitt, Brito also had three wins in his last five bouts. His victories were against Jonathan Pearce, Jack Shore, and Isaac Thomson, while his losses were courtesy of William Gomis and Pat Sabatini.
