UFC Vegas 118: Muhammad vs. Bonfim: Prediction
I predict a decision victory for Muhammad over Bonfim because he’s the better grappler. Muhammad can use his grappling to nullify the striking and power of Bonfim and control him for most of the match.
Muhammad has learned his lesson not to use his grappling in his two previous bouts, where he suffered losses. I believe he’ll go back to his fighting base, especially the danger of trading hands with Bonfim, who’s known to be a power puncher.
Bonfim, though, is a savage submission artist, which is why Muhammad should be careful in scrambles and transitions, as one mistake can be costly. But the relentless wrestling and takedowns of Muhammad should be enough to secure the victory.
