Undefeated flyweight contender André Lima looks to keep his pro record intact against Kevin Borjas in their scheduled bout at UFC Vegas 119 on Saturday inside the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
Due to his perfect record with a 55% finish rate, Lima heads into the fight as the heavy betting favorite with -650 UFC odds, while Borjas, who’s currently on a two-fight losing skid, will be the +475 betting underdog.

UFC Vegas 119: André Lima vs. Kevin Borjas: Prediction
A decision win for Lima over Borjas is my prediction because he’s the more defensively disciplined fighter. Borjas fights with his hands low and he’s very vulnerable to straight punches and one-two combinations.
Lima is a very good striker who has a solid kickboxing background and with his accuracy, I wouldn’t be surprise if he connects a clean strike to the chin of Borjas. Additionally, Borjas is heavy on his lead leg and Lima can use it as well as a point of attack.
If Lima lands several calf kicks, he’ll be able to slow his movement and eventually find the mark. The threat of takedowns and wrestling wouldn’t be a problem for Lima because Borjas isn’t a grappling-heavy fighter.
André Lima’s Recent Fight Results
Lima entered the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series in October 2023 with a decision win over Rickson Zenidim. He maintained his immaculate record in the promotion with victories over Igor Severino, Mitch Raposo, Felipe dos Santos, and Daniel Barez.
Kevin Borjas’ Recent Fight Results
Borjas was a former Inka FC titleholder before he joined Dana White’s Contender Series in 2023. He defeated Victor Dias to secure a roster spot. However, in his five UFC bouts, he has won only one, against Ronaldo Rodriguez, and lost the other four to Joshua Van, Alessandro Costa, Sumudaerji, and Imanol Rodriguez.
