UFC 276: Israel Adesanya vs. Jared Cannonier and Alexander Volkanovski vs. Max Holloway

Saturday, July 2 | TV: ESPN, PPV | Time: 6 p.m. ET

Israel Adesanya is set to defend his middleweight crown for the sixth straight occasion. This time, he’ll take on Jared Cannonier.

Adesanya is 22-1 for his career. His only loss came against Jan Blachowicz in the light heavyweight championship bout on March 6, 2021.

Of his title victories, he’s won by unanimous decision on four of six occasions. His MMA odds to win by decision/technical decision were +100 as of Thursday, June 30.

Meanwhile, Cannonier is 15-5 with victories in five of his last six outings. He last defeated Derek Brunson in February.

Adesanya’s UFC odds to win were -550, while his odds of winning in Round 1 were +500. Cannonier’s odds of victory were +375.

Two featherweight division stars are facing off with Alexander Volkanovski defending his belt in a matchup with Max Holloway.

Volkanovski is 24-1 and hasn’t lost since 2013, but he’s been very close to being defeated by Holloway. In Volkanovski’s first two title fights, he beat Holloway by a unanimous decision, and a split decision.

Holloway is 23-6 for his career. He’s lost twice in his last four appearances, but both were against Volkanovski.

Volkanovski still had -200 UFC betting odds to win, while Holloway’s were +165.
