Phantom are now the third different favorite since this market was released. The Laces began as the preseason favorites, but were passed by Mist after one game. The Laces returned to the top following the opening weekend, and were trading as the front-runners until the final day of the regular season.
With the postseason around the corner, these three teams are clearly the top contenders.
Phantom are currently riding a six-game win streak, playing their best basketball at the right time. The combination of Kelsey Plum and Aliyah Boston has worked extremely well.
The Laces dropped a pair of games during the final weekend, spoiling a strong regular season. They still have a talented trio of Brittney Sykes, Jackie Young, and Alyssa Thomas that works in this three-on-three format.
Mist, meanwhile, have the best point differential and are the only team to be favored in every game this season. Allisha Gray and Breanna Stewart lead a talented roster that has an argument as the best squad in the league.
