Napheesa Collier had the honor of winning the inaugural Unrivaled MVP award in 2025, but she will miss the second season after having surgery on both ankles. That means the 2026 MVP race is completely wide open.

Unrivaled MVP odds are now available at the BetMGM online sportsbook, so I’ll keep track of the race by updating this page throughout the year.

Here’s a look at the top contenders and predictions for the 2026 Unrivaled MVP race:

Who Will Win Unrivaled MVP in 2026?

At this point in the season, Rose guard Chelsea Gray has established herself as the betting favorite to win the Unrivaled MVP award. Her +250 odds translate to an implied probability of 28.57%.

Gray is second in the league in scoring with an average of 25.1 points per game. She’s also second in assists with an average of 6.6 per contest.

After guiding Rose to the first-ever championship last year, Gray is clearly suited to succeed in this three-on-three format. She’s the best passer in the league and might be the most clutch scorer as well. The only real question about Gray is her age, as it’s fair to wonder if the 33-year-old guard will maintain this form all year.

For a much younger option, Paige Bueckers could win this award in her first season with Unrivaled. She’s averaging 25 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per contest. Behind her all-around performance, Breeze have exceeded expectations during a 5-5 start to the year.

Breeze are the most popular team this season, and Bueckers is the most popular player.

This award will be determined by on-court performance, so team success is likely a key factor, as it typically is for MVP winners. The Lunar Owls had the best record (13-1) in the league last year, which boosted Collier’s MVP case.

With Breeze’s roster being the youngest in the field, it’s fair to wonder if they will win enough games for Bueckers to claim an MVP trophy.

As a result, I could see the Laces and Mist having a player win MVP as the two best teams in the league.

The Laces have the best record in the league, led by a talented trio of Brittney Sykes, Jackie Young, and Alyssa Thomas. They might actually be too balanced for one player to get enough credit.

If the season ended today, Allisha Gray of the Mist would be my MVP. She’s averaging 20 points, 4.3 rebounds, and three assists in 15.6 minutes per game. Even with that playing time, she’s been one of the best players in the league.

Prediction: Allisha Gray
