Mist vs. Rose Prediction
My Mist vs. Rose prediction suggests taking Mist’s moneyline (-130) ahead of tipoff at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday on TNT.
Given that this is the shortest spread of the next two nights, it’s fair to suggest this is the marquee matchup of the weekend. Rose are the defending champions and got off to a strong start, while Mist were early championship favorites in Season 2.
Rose fell to 3-2 after dropping both games last weekend, including a defeat as 9.5-point favorites to the Hive last Friday. They followed that up with a four-point loss to the Laces as 2.5-point favorites on Sunday.
Chelsea Gray leads all players with an average of 30.6 points per game, but Mist have the defensive personnel to challenge her, including Veronica Burton, Allisha Gray, Alanna Smith, and Breanna Stewart.
After posting a 1-1 clip last weekend, Mist fell to No. 2 in the latest Unrivaled championship odds. However, they still have a case as the best team in the league, as they are the only ones to be favored in every contest thus far.
I prefer the moneyline value rather than taking a juiced short spread for my Mist vs. Rose prediction.
