My Breeze vs. Phantom prediction suggests taking Phantom’s moneyline (-130) ahead of tipoff at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday on TNT.
Given that this is the shortest spread of the next two nights, it’s fair to suggest this is the marquee matchup of this upcoming slate. These two teams find themselves in the middle of the season standings at 4-3 overall.
In many ways, these two teams are very similar. Not only do they have the same win-loss record, but they are both 4-3 against the spread, including 3-2 as a favorite and 1-1 as an underdog.
Where you start to notice the difference between these two teams is by looking at the point differential.
Phantom have outscored their opponents by 40 points on the year, marking the second-best point differential in the league. The Laces, who are 6-1, lead the way with a +62 point differential.
Breeze, meanwhile, have a +12 point differential, indicating they have been in much closer games thus far.
I believe Phantom are the better team, and they will prove it on Friday night in Philadelphia.
