The World Baseball Classic is slated to begin with pool play on March 5.
A pair of Pool C games scheduled to take place in Tokyo will kick off the event in 2026. Czechia will be in action for both games, facing Kora at 5 a.m. ET (noon local time) before meeting with Australia at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. local time). Both games will be broadcast on FS1.
After that, eight pool-play games are scheduled for March 6, featuring all four groups. Pool play will end on March 11.

When Will WBC Quarterfinals Take Place?
Following the conclusion of pool play on March 11, the WBC quarterfinals are set for March 13 and 14 at two locations: Houston and Miami.
When Will WBC Semifinals Take Place?
The WBC semifinals are scheduled for March 15 and March 16 in loanDepot Park in Miami.
When is the WBC Championship?
The WBC championship game will be held on March 17 in loanDepot Park in Miami.
When Will MLB Teams Face World Baseball Classic Teams in Spring Training?
MLB teams will begin facing World Baseball Classic teams in exhibition games during spring training on March 3.
Among the marquee matchups for that first day, Team USA faces the San Francisco Giants at 3:05 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Detroit Tigers battle the Dominican Republic at 6:05 p.m. ET on MLB Network.
There will be another slate of exhibition matchups on March 4, including a contest between the USA and the Colorado Rockies at 3:10 p.m. ET.
