Dream vs. Fever Prediction: WNBA Preview for Tonight

Welcome BonusBetting Promos

The first matchup between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark of the 2026 WNBA season will take place on Thursday. Reese’s Atlanta Dream travel to face Clark’s Indiana Fever at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Amazon Prime.

The Fever enter this matchup as a 1.5-point favorite based on the latest WNBA odds. The total is 172.5.

Dream vs. Fever Prediction: Thursday, June 4

  • Caitlin Clark under 2.5 3-pointers

There aren’t any player props for Thursday’s Dream vs. Fever matchup as of this writing, but I’ll be interested in Clark’s 3-point line when it becomes available. Specifically, I like the under on 2.5 3-pointers for Clark as my Dream vs. Fever prediction.

Clark has struggled to get going from distance in the early stages of the 2026 campaign. She’s shooting 33.3% from the 3-point line, knocking down 2.6 triples on 7.7 attempts per game. Clark has finished with two or fewer triples in five of her seven outings thus far.

On some level, Clark’s shooting struggles are a continuation of her brief sophomore campaign. In 13 contests last year, Clark averaged 2.2 3-pointers on 27.9% shooting. She failed to hit more than two triples in each of her final seven games.

At some point, Clark will get going from deep. And it will probably happen in a home game, as she’s fared better in Gainbridge Fieldhouse during her WNBA career.

However, Karl Smesko’s system in Atlanta is built on winning the 3-point math. The Dream give up the fewest 3-pointers (6.3) per game in the league. They also allow the third-fewest attempts (22.9), running shooters off the line as much as possible.

Atlanta guard Rhyne Howard levels up her defensive effort in marquee matchups, so I expect her to limit Clark as much as possible on Thursday.

Prediction: Caitlin Clark under 2.5 3-pointers
