Indiana is a 4.5-point road favorite based on the latest WNBA odds. The total is 169.5.

I like a couple of angles for tonight’s Fever vs. Mystics game. Taking the points with Washington is appealing, but I also like the under on Caitlin Clark’s 3-point prop when those markets become available at the BetMGM online sportsbook.

In a way, these two predictions are correlated.

Clark and the Fever have underperformed to start the year, but they’ve particularly struggled on the road. Indiana is 1-3 with a -4.8 net rating on the road thus far. For comparison, the Fever are 4-2 with a +8.8 net rating at home.

As for Clark, she’s averaging 14 points and 1.3 3-pointers per game away from home this year. She’s failed to hit three triples in any of her four road contests. Last season, Clark averaged 0.4 3-pointers and 12.2 points in her five road outings. She never hit more than one triple.

For the Fever to perform better, they need Clark to get going. She’s shooting 37.7% from the floor, including 32.5% from long range. Clark is averaging 2.4 3-pointers per contest, knocking down two or fewer triples in seven of her nine matchups.

Of these two predictions, I prefer the under on Clark’s 3-point line. But the Mystics are a live home dog in what could be a competitive battle.
