Fever vs. Storm Prediction: Tuesday, July 28

  • Flau’jae Johnson over 14.5 points

As of this writing, there aren’t any player props available at BetMGM. But I’m interested in the over on Flau’jae Johnson’s scoring line, especially if it’s listed around 14.5.

Johnson, who was the No. 8 pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, settled into a nice rhythm right before the All-Star break. She has scored 16-plus points in four straight contests, averaging 20.8 points over that span.

During that stretch, Johnson’s usage rating has climbed to 26.1%, and she’s averaging 30 minutes per outing. Johnson attempted double-digit shots in all four matchups.

I don’t expect the All-Star break to halt Johnson’s momentum. If anything, she might be more rested than some of her teammates. Dominique Malonga played in the All-Star Game, while Natisha Hiedeman participated in the 3-point contest and live-streamed the off-court festivities all weekend.

Indiana might actually be a bit underrated coming out of the break. The Fever rank second in net rating, suggesting they’ve underperformed relative to their overall record.

However, Indiana had multiple players involved throughout All-Star weekend. As such, a road trip to Seattle could lead to a sleepy start to the Fever’s post-break campaign.

I’ll back the talented rookie to maintain her recent momentum in a favorable matchup.

Prediction: Flau’jae Johnson over 14.5 points
